Chicago Public Libraries: Show Me The Money

This infographic provides a visual breakdown for Chicago Public Library revenues, expenditures as well as program and grant funding for the years 2013, 2014, and 2015. The data was collected from the Chicago Public Library Foundation Annual Reports. We can tell by the titles of the library programs becoming more organized throughout the years that the CPL (Chicago Public Library) system is finding ways to keep track of their expenses and programs in a more efficient manner. It also becomes clear when looking at the breakdown of program funding that increasing access to technology is very important to the CPL system.
